Dr. Paskiet relocated to Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2009. COVD is a national organization which emphasizes a developmental and behavioral approach to delivering comprehensive vision care.

Dr. Paskiet also supports the optometric community through her membership in the American Optometric Association (AOA), Ohio Optometric Association (OOA), and College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD). Dr. Paskiet participated in contact lens research both as a subject and research assistant during optometry school.

Dr. Paskiet has a special interest in providing the pediatric population with comprehensive eye care and can explore the wide range of visual problems from which children suffer. A vision need may go beyond glasses such as focusing inability, eye-teaming problem, visual-perceptual dysfunction, and near work fatigue. Prescription glasses or programs such as vision therapy can be used to solve these conditions and gain or restore top quality vision. Patients as young as 6 months through college age can all benefit from an eye exam to determine their quality of vision. Dr. Paskiet also helps treat and manage laser vision correction, cataract surgery, emergency needs, and contact lens patients. Dr. Paskiet is equipped to provide up to date eye care to all patients from infants to seniors.

Dr. Paskiet’s passion and motivation is to seek out those patients in need of eyecare and work together to achieve a successful outcome and meet their visual goals.

On a personal note: Dr. Paskiet enjoys spending time with her husband, bike riding, gardening, traveling, watching Buckeye football, and cooking for friends and family. Dr. Paskiet and her husband attend Beechwold Christian Church.
